Bhagat Namdev Ji was born on October 26, 1270 in the state of maharashtra in the village of Narsi Bahmanee Pandurpur (presently called Narsi Namdev). His fathers name was Damshet and his mothers name was Goanabai. Bhagat Namdev Ji, Just like our guru’s, emphasized the importance of grist jeevan or marriage as being the ultimate path towards enlightenment. He emphasized that the truest form of bandage or devotional meditation, is to enter matrimony and jointly seek the experience Waheguru. He was married to his wife named Rajabai. He had 4 sons and 1 daughter.
